An interesting article about publishing uncensored official goverment docs to public

Whistle-blower site taken offline A controversial website that allows whistle-blowers to anonymously post government and corporate documents has been taken offline in the US. Wikileaks.org, as it is known, was cut off from the internet following a California court ruling, the site says.

The case was brought by a Swiss bank after "several hundred" documents were posted about its offshore activities.
Other versions of the pages, hosted in countries such as Belgium and India, can still be accessed.

However, the main site was taken offline after the court ordered that Dynadot, which controls the site's domain name, should remove all traces of wikileaks from its servers.

The court also ordered that Dynadot should "prevent the domain name from resolving to the wikileaks.org website or any other website or server other than a blank park page, until further order of this Court."
Other orders included that the domain name be locked "to prevent transfer of the domain name to a different domain registrar" to prevent changes being made to the site.

Wikileaks claimed that the order was "unconstitutional" and said that the site had been "forcibly censored".The case was brought by lawyers working for the Swiss banking group Julius Baer. It concerned several documents posted on the site which allegedly reveal that the bank was involved with money laundering and tax evasion.
The documents were allegedly posted by Rudolf Elmer, former vice president of the bank's Cayman Island's operation.

A spokesperson for Julius Baer said he could not comment on the case because of "pending legal proceedings".
The BBC understands that Julius Baer asked for the documents to be removed because they could have an impact on a separate legal case ongoing in Switzerland.
The court hearing took place last week and Dynadot blocked access from Friday evening.

Wikileaks says it was not represented at the hearing because it was "given only hours notice" via e-mail.
A document signed by Judge Jeffery White, who presided over the case, ordered Dynadot to follow six court orders.
As well as removing all records of the site form its servers, the hosting and domain name firm was ordered to produce "all prior or previous administrative and account records and data for the wikileaks.org domain name and account".
The order also demanded that details of the site's registrant, contacts, payment records and "IP addresses and associated data used by any person...who accessed the account for the domain name" to be handed over.
Wikileaks allows users to post documents anonymously.

Information bank
The site was founded in 2006 by dissidents, journalists, mathematicians and technologists from the US, Taiwan, Europe, Australia and South Africa.
It so far claims to have published more than 1.2 million documents.
It provoked controversy when it first appeared on the net with many commentators questioning the motives of the people behind the site.
It recently made available a confidential briefing document relating to the collapse of the UK's Northern Rock bank.
Lawyers working on behalf of the bank attempted to have the documents removed from the site. They can still be accessed.
Dynadot was contacted for this article but have so far not responded to requests for comment.

TechMiracles

The technical advancements in upcoming years centric towards mobile. It depicts how mobile has captured the market and took everybody's attention.

Technologies are developed to make human life more flexible and advanced. As human beings became more mature and knowledgeable by leaps of time, they invented lots of new things which are meant to raise the level of living standards across the globe. By looking into history, I find the new generation mobiles with embedded technologies more potential field. This technical miracle will facilitate people by providing easy access starting from communication to satellite navigation.

In olden days, mobile phones were categorized into 2nd generations which were limited to CDMA, GSM with digital cellular systems but now a day, we have 3G and 4G mobiles which not only support these networks but also provide access to Wireless communication with high data rate. These mobile devices enable end users to access High speed wireless internet with last mile connectivity. By having these systems in practice, user will be able to access online eCommerce Applications, play games, make financial transactions and perform video conferencing. The best example to narrate this idea is Pay Pal Mobile Application which will allow user to send money via mobile browsers to their accounts. It also provides user to buy and sell items on eBay and do the checkout through their mobile phones.

Mobile Technologies are helpful to user to communicate effectively regardless of location. As current market has become more mature, there are so many service providers who facilitate users to access calling cards in order to provide distant communication with reasonable rates. Along with that, we have blackberry cell phones and PDA which assist user to access office applications and arrange meetings. These high tech phones offer flexibility while user can work from home but still connected to all office applications.

In current cutting edge technologies, we have mobile devices which will enable user to navigate user while traveling from one state to the other. For e.g. Nokia N series has come up with their own GPS navigation software embedded into phones. This phenomenon provides client to have look at nearest restaurants, gas stations and walk through all streets and their intersections. Apple Inc, has recently launched iPhone which allows consumer to drag and drop their photos and able to download favorite music through Safari Web Browser. These mobiles are also meant to provide education by having video and data streaming to illiterate people in rural areas via broadcasting.

In nutshell, I consider mobile technologies the most agile field with endless opportunities waiting ahead. It will help people to communicate effectively under circumstances like accident or serious injury likewise calling 911 to aid people instantly. In all conditions, they stand out the best amongst all technologies and innovations that humans have ever come up with.

Importance of Masters

Life is the greatest boon from God”, as this wise saying goes, every human being on earth has certain inspirations and motives when they live their lives. As he gets mature and persuades things, he becomes knowledgeable and gains understanding of it. During my childhood, I was always attracted towards Computers and their applications. My dream came true when I got admission in one of the Nation's finest colleges at back home. I was pretty thrilled and excited to delve into this amazing field with endless opportunities so I decided to paddle this ship on my own which fulfills my destiny.

I learned a lot during my under graduation and had a chance to walk through all latest computer programming languages and their technologies. During some point of time during my study, I suddenly realized that this is the place I always wanna be!!! So I have decided to pursue my Masters in this field. During my exhaustive search process for the universities for the opportunities in Software Engineering, I found US universities the best in the world. I also got to know that getting degree from US Universities will give you International exposure and will help you to stand on Latest Technical Hubs where Multi National Companies are fighting to build the Human future with technical innovations.

Masters program is generally structured on latest cutting edge technologies with advanced thoughts and ideas. In undergraduate program, we only get an opportunity to explore basic courses which help to create solid base and fundamentals for the same. These courses are only useful to create platform but limited to more practical exposure and projects. Pursuing MS will give you insight regarding the specific topics of our choices which facilitate us to dive into completely. It also gives you an opportunity to become proficient in special areas. For e.g. during my MS, I was always focused on Software Development and Software lifecycles. By virtue of this, I was able to walk through entire SDLC from starting phase like Understanding Client requirements to ending phase like Testing products on different platforms. This facilitates you to understand each and every phase of product development lifecycle so you can have deep ideas which help you to think in systematic way from manufacturing to production.

Along with gaining deep knowledge and practical exposure, my ultimate goal is to become entrepreneur and start my own firm. In order to establish any new technical venture, you have to have complete ideas and plans regarding the product. One has to possess mastery and deep insight for the field which can only be achieved by having higher graduation for the same field along with certain management skills. Statistics shows that in around 1997, there are around 400,000 students get their diploma from US universities so the global market has raised it platform and there are stiff competitions exist in market so in order to become prominent, we should have mastery and knack for our special areas. I understand that value of education and that's why I have to pursue what I love to do.
